[ High, vaulted ceilings with two rows of pews, complete with stained glass windows depicting heavenly figures and moments, and light from a source unknown pouring through them. Along with that, Beyond didn't fail to notice the altar that was at the front of the room. He had found a church in the mansion. Before the altar lay a large casket (or was ( Read more... )

[She finds him in the church a few minutes later, where she sits next to B.]
...I've been here before. It...was nice.

[She sighs sadly. She wondered, briefly, who was in the casket...and she inadvertently thought of L. How much she missed him, even though she hated him for so long....]
I miss him a lot, B.

Was it? [ His voice sounds a bit dull. A may notice the change from a sweater to a turtleneck that he has undergone. ] ...Rather strange to miss someone you never really came face to face with, isn't it.

[She nods quietly, curling up a bit.]
...I want to go home, B...I want to go home so bad...

...

I want to return to the time when things weren't complicated. When happiness came easily. That place where that was possible for me is a place I can no longer return. Sister Misa walks into the door and gasps in surprise and glee.

She dips two fingers into the holy water and crosses herself. She folds her hands in prayer, and looks to the alter to see a coffin adorned with flowers.

It was a funeral, or was about to be one, as there was no priest or large amount of people paying their respects.

She walks up the rows of pews, and to a man in one of the rows.

"Hello. May I join you?" she asks quietly.

She genuflects at the edge of the pew and slides in, kneeling on the floor next to him.

She notes the way he is sitting.

"You may want to kneel. It's believed to be more... respectful."

I would prefer to stay like this. You may do as you wish, but I'm sure God won't mind.
