This definitely hadn’t been in Near’s plan.

On the other hand, he had wanted Gevanni to stay close to Mikami. But somehow, Gevanni suspected that Near would judge Mikami’s tongue in Gevanni’s mouth and Mikami’s hands on the small of his back, pulling him in as being far, far too close. Probably it was.
