Okay, so I was rewatching the Dark Mercury arc (because Dark Mercury is badass) and I recalled that fanart of Matsuda dressed up as Sailor Moon.

Save now I'm seeing Matsuda as Sailor Mercury. lol

So the random scenario that popped into my head is that Matsuda is a Sailor Moon fan (hey, I've seen men who are HUGE Sailor Moon fans) and he particularly likes the Kunzite/Dark Mercury pairing.

So then, maybe Light (or Near?) finds out and dresses Matsuda up as Sailor Mercury or Dark Mercury and he dresses up as Kunzite from the Live Action show...

I have no idea where I'm going with this, I just want to see it (and get more Kunzite/Dark Mercury in my life).
