Had my oncology review yesterday. Is all good. I’m still NERD (No Evidence of Recurrent Disease). Since it is now almost 3 years since my radiotherapy I now drop to just one annual review. I seem to be getting off very lightly ( Read more... ) -

Progress
I’m now one third of the way through the Dr Who scarf. It’s going a lot faster than I expected. I don’t think I’ve got the colours quite right, but it’s reasonably close and will just have to do.
I might take a photo or two tonight since there is now enough of it to show off.
Am already starting to think about what to make next :) -

Ra Ra Raptors
Today was fabulous. I spent the afternoon with my darling daughter having a meet the birds experience at The Raptor Foundation. I got to hold birds, feed birds and fly birds and every single one of them was absolutely beautiful.

I made a thing
Am ridiculously pleased with myself for actually finishing knitting an adult sized jumper for the first time ever. I've knitted quite a few little things in the past, but never anything this big. It's for Vicci and I will find out in a few hours whether it fits or not ( Read more... ) -

Hmmmm
My tongue is officially weird.
It's only just over a week since the doctor cut a chunk out of my tongue to remove an ulcery thing that had been there on the underside of my tongue for too long to be ignored.
It was unpleasant. There was a hole. And stitches. (I even posted evidence on facebook).
