Have you tried using the lj PM system with the player? Maybe RPers on dear_multi may not feel comfortable playing out acknowledging or realizing their character is fictional in some form. Or maybe it was an accident?

I'm not awesome enough to be a mod here, but deleting someone else's comment is against the rules. They may not have read the rules or read them very clearly, but hopefully that's something you can clear up through PM

I just did, and got answered to. Mostly it was because I didn't start a whole thread, I just stepped into the conversation because it was relevant then and there. I answered that he should have told me off IC.

calling a player out publicly rather than messaging them privately first is kind of rude. not everyone in d_m reads the ooc comm, either.
