So, long time player here, new character, yadda yadda. There's some good links on the journal for anyone not familiar with the Highlander universe. I'm having a good time over in the Nexus, *Waves* (I haven't seen Derek in the Nexus in forever! So awesome!) but I've been wandering around the internet looking for a good Highlander RP. Honestly, I haven't seen a straight out Highlander game anywhere in a very, very long time (I still watch DM, as you can tell XD, and just had to poke one of my all time fav characters!). Most places seem to be panfandom based, and jamjar, too (Derek's over at luceti, for example).

Maybe if you throw Conner into DM enough times though, others from the cast will show?

Hey! I honestly can't remember if we've ever played together or not, but I used to see you plenty over Courtney-mun's shoulder.

I didn't restrict my hunting to LJ, but yeah, the very best one, that looked like exactly what I was looking for, also showed no activity since 2007. I guess my fandom's too old or something? I dunno. Anyway, I'll definitely keep Connor around DM in the meantime. It'd be nice to have a Duncan to play off though.

You never know--a lot of times, once you start playing from a fandom, other folks will start dragging old muses out of the closet (or will make a new one once they know they'll have a cast mate). I know there used to be a Methos muse running around here (he's still on Derek's flist, actually...unless the journal is gone and I didn't notice.)

You can also try Dear_mun...that seems to be a good 'go to' place for game/RPer shopping these days. There's also a comm where people can request cast mates for their own game, but that will likely be more miss than hit if you want to stay in a strictly canon game (and unfortunately, I don't remember what it's called at the moment...).

*Smacks forehead* Dirk Gently is probably the best known around here, but I've got a few other OC's and fan characters that I pop in once in a while. I haven't been around much for a while now. Life gets in the way.

Was the Methos in MAHS briefly? I seem to remember the Dirkling was gonna take fencing.

...I've heard Dear Mun works different than it used to.

Hahahaha you're totally welcome 8) Ramirez has a PRESENT FOR HIM that he's been waiting since like last year to give to a Connor. He's been literally carrying it around like a sad old loser.

:(!! I don't think I could handle another game, tbh. I mostly play Ramirez over at xanadoodle, where we are basically always shilling for other Highlander characters, but so far we've only got Ramirez and Methos.

Awwww... I literally just made the journal today. Been playing him with a friend offline for more than a month though.

I'll go check it out, and there's always tossing him around the zany world of DM.

I know of a Methos but he may just be a Nexus pup. And the mun has been quiet with him recently, so she may be taking a break from him. (Or there just haven't been any posts he--the pup, not the mun--would respond to.)

Yeah, it's been pointed out now there's a Methos around, or there was, and I've got a Ramirez now. I guess the fandom's been quiet but I'm hoping they might creep out of the woodwork now.

The Methos I'm familiar with is 5myrsofregrets. Although I vaguely remembering seeing the one in the link given you before. Ed hasn't had any reason to interact with that one though.
