What a beautiful tribute to an outstanding person and wonderful actor. Such a strange and sad fact that Alan Rickman and David Bowie both died at the same age within a few days of each other.

Thank you, dear. He was, himself, iconic as Snape, and much loved. I know this was very saddening for you, too. *hugs*

Truer words you have spoken. I was very saddened to hear the news. I didn't even know about it until I came over to live journal last night. Such a great loss, as an actor and as a good man. Your art tribute to Professor Snape is stunningly perfect, with Professor Snape's poise, colors within the artwork , and the words posted.

I was devastated when I heard about David Bowie. I actually cried. He was a musical genius. I grew up with this music. I attended his concert in Rochester ,New York. I was with a college girlfriend. ( That was his first and last show in Rochester New York, because some jerk undercover female cop lured him, he invited her to his hotel, he took out a little pot, and she arrested him. I was furious. The city lost a ton of revenue for doing that to him. ) David's revenge was he would book concerts in Buffalo and Rochester, and cancel the Rochester concert at the last minute. -- *** I am glad he had a good 22 year marriage with Iman, and they have an 11 year old daughter, and I think he has an adult son from another relationship /marriage. He was able to enjoy the fruits of his labor in his ( ... )

Yes, he was another incredibly great artist and such a sad loss. Thanks for sharing your memories of him. I never saw him in concert, but enjoyed his music very much, and the movie Labyrinth has always been a favorite of mine. I think I may watch that again soon. *hugs*
