Hee - I'm in the middle of my annual Christmas Eve cookie baking marathon! So far, I've done three versions of oatmeal cookies - raisin/walnut, cranberry/macadamia/white chocolate chip, chocolate chip/pecan - and chocolate peppermint cookies. Still to go - gingerbread! :D

I finally have had time to start reading your wonderful advent story! I am loving the snails so much!! And Harry and Draco too of course. ;-) I made a new snail icon from my art last year especially to use for this reply and I realized just now it looks somewhat like a FROST SNAIL! :D You may most definitely steal it to use yourself if you like.
