Heheh, I did laugh at that. On the other hand, I do use musical ringtones, but I usually build my own using clips from songs I have on CD. Meh, they're not *awful*...

I don't mind pleasantly musical ringtones (in fact, I should probably switch mine back to the "Halloween" theme shortly, given the season :-) ), I just can't stand the ones that are usually used by the same folks who consider rear-deck-shaking amounts of overdriven bass to be "music".

with the kind of day I'm having, I may just spend a portion of this evening ripping Green Jello's "Anarchy in Bedrock" (from the Flintstones movie soundtrack) to a new tone... though the Ramones are definitely up there on the "approved musical ringtone" list
