Woah. Too many feelings for this story... So beautiful, so heart wrenching... Be still my heart! I think the use you made of the prompt is positively perfect, from Halloween which is in itself in the series, back to the basics of Harry Potter and of our beloved Draco and Hermione. Beautiful.
I got to read this story before it posted (lucky me!), so I've said most of this already-- but I'll say it again. =) This was so gorgeously written: beautiful, poignant, moving. I was honestly astounded by how you managed to evoke such a vivid atmosphere and such a strong sense of depth in their bond in so few words! Amazing job!
I can't imagine the strength it takes to find solace in such humanity-defying moment. It's so beautiful that the ugliness of the war makes me curdle. Not a HEA in sight, but at least they have each other. Utter brilliance.
