I loved the development in this chapter - Draco's growing understanding of his feelings for others (not just Hermione, but the four people he lost, esp. his father). The rose garden scene had me practically in tears. Lovely visual there. Adored the house-elf soul-bound idea - original!

Again, more SPaG errors that could use some correcting.

One question: when did Tonks and Lupin have Teddy in your story, because he seems to be around the level of a 4 yr. old or older, when the year is 1998 and in canon he was only born in April that year. I'm assuming you changed that detail, too. Just wondered how old you picture him as I had a bit of a problem pegging his age.
