That was so unbelievably fucking beautiful. For the twenty minutes it took to read this, I felt only the warmth of the island and the waters. Now that I'm finished, I'm shivering again. I don't think this could have been any more perfect.

A continuation or sequel would be lovely though, if you ever feel the urge. It is almost dreadful to leave your Hermione and Draco behind. I especially liked the little detail about Harry and Ginny breaking up and getting back together. Usually in the future, they are married and have a billion kids.

Anyway. I wish I could be more eloquent. Wonderful, wonderful story. :)

Oh yes, I second the request for a continuation or sequel. It ended on a beautiful note and I am greatly satisfied, but it doesn't hurt to read more from this kind!! ^_^

Thank you!

Your comment has made my day (week? month?) Thanks for the lovely words, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Sequel: My other story for this exchange had a more ambiguous ending, so people did talk about a sequel. This one was always going to have a happy ending, so I'm not sure where a sequel would go. Maybe a series w/ Hermione and Draco solving crimes as the Nick and Nora of Magical Law Enforcement. Actually, that could be kind of fun, but I think we'll just leave this one where it is for now.

Re: Harry and Ginny, I am so not a H/G shipper*, so putting that line amused me ( ... )

Wow.

This is simply spectacular. I'm incoherent now, but good golly was this a great read. It was impeccably written, the elements of the plot were present, and the characterization was nothing short of fantastic. The setting! Oh! The setting...you make me want to hop on a plane and go to Fiji! And the idea of Draco being a bank robber was highly original and I loved it.

Truly, a wonderful job. Please, please never stop writing for this ship. :)

Thank you for your lovely comment!

I'm a new fanfic writer. I decided to take the plunge because I love Draco/Hermione, and I wanted more of it. So I'll keep writing this pair. If you want to see more, please come by my LJ where I've linked back to my other ficexchange story and will also be posting a slightly revised version soon.

Wonderful story. Just wonderful. Love it. Well written, sweet...Draco as a tanned bank robber living in a tropical paradise? What's not to love. :D

Yes, he's far prettier against a tropical background than I first realized when I thought of the idea!

Thank you so much!

This was simply a pleasure to read. You completely swept me up in the story and made me feel the setting. Draco was poignant and almost sad, wiht a sense that he'd just been waiting for her. Ah...I really have no words. It was just wonderful

As it came to an end, I knew that Hermione was going to leave and I started tearing up, and almost stopping reading, so that I could just pretend that she had stayed...but I pushed on through and I'm so glad that I did.

What a wonderful ending!!

Oh...and I forgot to mention that the image of him standing at the wall of glass, watching her in the moonlit ocean, was just beautiful and so vivid.

*sigh*

Thanks for finishing! This story (unlike my other one here) was always going to have a happy ending. That's one reason it's in the future. Post-HBP, I think these two need to grow up and let some time pass before they can come together in a lasting way.

So you don't have to do what I do in Gone With the Wind and Casablanca and make up your own ending. I got your back. ;D
