So, I have decided that I really need to buckle down and work through the mound of fabric that I have on my work table.  I wish I had images, but hopefully you all will be able to sift through my meanderings -

Wow, you have a lot on your plate. Have fun with it all (said hopefully).

And just an historical fyi, Henry's coronation outfit, as discussed in "Dress in the Court of King Henry VIII" was all in red, including a silk shirt (over a linen shirt). Red was for a symbolic reason, that my brain can't recall other than his father did the same. You don't have to do red, as I think gold, white and purple will be really nice on stage and will stand out more. I do look forward to seeing your work in a few months (eep, I need to get working on early hoods, and reworking my outfit, too).

You know, I was going to do red for that reason, until I read that Henry and Katherine wore white and gold for the wedding. So I am opting for that. I am also making a black outfit to wear when I am not involved in the coronation or wedding services... for mourning...
