i think the pitchers just have to do bettah. i actually like pokey but i cant wait for nomar to come back. :D im finally going to my FIRST red sox game on june 25th!!!!

That Nomar lead the balloting for AL shortstop and the current leader is Jeter simply means that if the All-Star game is to mean anything then you can't let fans vote. That being said Nomar is great shortstop and will improve the team. And who would have thought that Bellhorn and Youk would be producing as they are?

Nomar is a good shortstop. I guess I never really debated that...I just think that his injury was one A)that could have been prevented B)should have had surgery. We were waiting around like he was the next King of the Universe when in fact many players on the Sox can and have stepped up to work for the betterment of the team. Basically, Nomar has become somewhat of a "premadonna" and I totally think that is how championships are lost...one guy thinking he can carry the team. He's great but doesn't deserve to be placed above every other valuable Red Sox player.
