I got my car inspected today. The thing I truly dislike about going to the mechanic is that they try and convince you that it is absolutely necessary that you need to fix everything they tell you. yeah, some of those mechanic guys are real crooks. maybe you should have pocketed his torque wrench just to even things out ;)

that was an excellent idea...but, I'm not suave enough to pull off the steal :) Being scammed is the pits...but, I guess its part of getting wiser!
