So the trailer for the Victorian era Sherlock Christmas special is up and it looks so pretty I might watch it after all. I thought season three was... okay, I don't really know how to describe season three, but after seeing it I wasn't sure I wanted to stick around for season four

I was underwhelmed by Season 3, and... confused? I dunno. It really cooled my Sherlock fire. But you're right, the Victorian special looks good. And I'll watch S4 bc I want to see if any of the messes they made pay off in any way. And... Sherlock. I loved the first two seasons so very much.

I have mixed feelings about the show. It has its moments, but I wish the stories were better... or at least more balanced in terms of characters vs. plot.
