Book finds

You know how Time Life Books used to publish collections of books about weird stuff? UFOs, ghosts, fairies, things like that. I loved those damn things when I was a kid, but my parents refused to invest in such additions to the family library on the grounds that it was tacky, tasteless garbage. It is. *gloats* Well, the spine does have a tell-tale "Time Life", etc. etc. on it but I appreciate that it has an occult look to go with the content.

Haha, maybe that's it! I've seen their collections that are more coffeetable book size, only thinner. I didn't realize they did special editions of older books, and I'd been wanting to read this one.

Both! I've been working through my reading pile, though. Most of the excess collection are books I read once and don't feel the need to keep, or books I have multiple copies of, for one reason or another.
