Lex waiting by Clark's bedside is so sweet. Then... his decision to leave it up to Clark whether or not to return to Lex. And I'm happy that Martha's supporting them both.

Most of all... YAY!!! Clark woke up. :D

I think Lex made the right decision, though I imagine it has to be hard for him not to be with the man he loves until Clark makes a full recovery. I guess Lex, even from afar, will want to be constantly updated on Clark's condition. And after everything he experienced during the fight and prior to it, I understand Clark's confusion when he woke up.

I love the details you put into the descriptions. I always like the H/C to be well told so that I can picture every thing clearly in my mind. I don't like TC that is hastily skipped or only lightly touched upon, particularly when it's well inserted into the story, as in this case. And now I'm all for the comfort part. :)

All night long I read this, from the beginning, and it's a real roller-coaster when you read it all in one shot. I felt so sorry for both of them all over again. Lex is so clueless when it comes to human interaction, and poor Clark--pushed to the edge again and again because Lex just doesn't get it.

The scene in the washroom is still one of the hottest I've ever read. And the aftermath--I sniveled again, wanting them to understand how much they need each other.

This bit right here broke my heart! When Lex does get it, he gets it one hundred per cent. He'd rip his heart out if that's what Clark needed. Poor boys. And I'm all soggy again!
