I love Lex's determination matched against Clark's stubbornness. It's like a 40's comedy, a little Tracy/Hepburn, maybe. :-D

I feel bad for Lex. He's trying so hard and Clark just refuses to meet him halfway.

Well, Lex is in a bad situation. He loves Clark and wants to show him how much but maybe putting Clark into the position he has maybe isn't the best way to go about it.

Lex is a smart man but he sometimes does stupid things, like forcing Clark to stay with him, but his intentions are good.

Clark does love him in return (even if he doesn't really know that yet) so he'll see eventually... it'll be a rocky road for them both in the mean time.

He will get there eventually, right now he's too off-balance with trying to deal with his desire while still trying to be angry at Lex for basically holding him hostage for 30 days...

I'm not sure I made this clear, but the desire he feels isn't coming out of nowhere, the magic is just enhancing what was already there.

Clark will be receptive to Lex's advances, eventually.
