This was wonderful! You really brought to life their wonderful chemistry and love for each other. And I really loved this part: There is no need for him to use a hand or elbow for support when he can control his gravitational field, but he wouldn't ever complain about the results. Awesome! ;)

I loved it! Bruce & Clark are too cute together. I especially loved the end when Clark had the mistletoe above the bed. Sneaky!Clark is always the best.

I loved this! I really liked your Bruce, the way he loves Clark so deeply and yet can't say it. And the way he was so worried that Clark was upset with him--that made me smile. This is one of those stories that makes me wonder how they met, how Clark convinced Bruce to take this risk; the exact moment Bruce so completely lost his heart. Bravo!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it and you know, I never even thought about how they met or how Bruce got to the point where he'd asked Clark to stay...

He can't articulate his feelings, but Clark is sure of them so he must have made himself clear.

I usually overthink things and have reasons for things to happen even if I don't always include the explanations in the story but I never even thought about that aspect.

Hmmm... I'll have to think about that.

Even if you hadn't noted that your Clark and Bruce here leaned towards the Welling and Bale versions, I would have guessed. Your voices for them were that distinct.

Clark's tone should have warned him off, but he stayed his course. "I think you ate enough to feed an army tonight. No else could eat as much as you do and still look so good."

The joke must have been lamer than Bruce had feared because Clark stopped dead in his tracks. Bruce silently vowed to never try to tell a joke ever again.

"Is that why you lo..." Clark blushed and seemed to reconsider what he was going to say and Bruce was glad that the L word wasn't going to be used.... "Is that why we're together, because I don't get fat?"

Oh Bruce, way to go with the back-handed compliment. He really doesn't know how to navigate a relationship, does he? And that's part of the charm of this pairing, I think. Bruce knows how to do *things* and that's about it.

But then sneaky Clark with the private mistletoe! Yay!
