I sorta miss LJ, so I decided to check my friends page, and I saw this from

And here this meme is

Yeah, a lot of the old crowd moved on from LJ, but there's still quite a few of us here. I don't know if you'll be able to find fellow enthusiasts for your new fandom, but people still post personal entries here and you can keep up with old friends. :)

The books are so well written, the few fics I have tried to read just aren't anywhere close as good I didn't get far before stopping reading them. There are no good slash pairings IMO either, since I adore Jamie most of all the men and given his history it wouldn't be believable to slash him with anyone, although Lord John is a gay character and I love him. He's a fairly big secondary character, and she's got novels about him, though, so still prolly will not read any fanfic...
In a way, it's just as well, fic reading and writing took up way too much of my time before.

Ha, welcome to the club! :) When LJ was in its heyday and stories were being posted at a manic pace every day, I mainly stuck with reading fanfic, as there was more than enough for me to read. Now I'm back to reading a lot of books per month and still reading a handful of good fanfics. :)
I've been in a murder mystery mood lately, so I'm reading a lot of those and enjoying the plot twists and turns. :)
