Draco,

A few, though nothing clear cut. The thing being something extra throws a doubt on killing it by normal means. It'll probably be resistant to normal magic, and protected in ways we can't really know until we try. There it something, though, I think would work. The problem is, convincing it's current guardian to let us take it along, without telling her why.

As to me being a warrior, I really don't know. Moody's been training me in more than just Occlumency for a while now, and I'm pretty good when it's just him and I. I don't know how good I'll be in a real fight, though I've held my own before, and with the training I've gotten, I'm pretty sure I'm loads better than I was fifth year.

And it's first names now, is it?

What's guardian? That's unhelpfully vague.

I've never really seen you in a duel. But Luna said you were "a very good fighter", so I suppose you impressed her somehow.

You prefer Longbottom?

Draco,

Alright. Sorry, I'm just getting too used to not saying anything outright. It's a little creepy, actually.

I was thinking that the Sword of Gryffindor may be able to cut through the snake like Fiend fire through a forest. Problem is convincing Professor McGonagal to let me take it.

And actually, I prefer Neville, especially since it looks like we're going to be working together intensely in the near future.

Get Moody to ask her...or Potter. She'd probably gift wrap it for him.

Just keep in mind it's a working relationship. We're not picking out curtains or anything.

What makes you think the sword would work though?
