so does anyone know where a good open mic nite is? there's a wonderful coffee house right down the street from me, and the owner kept saying he was going to get one started, besides other things for a while now. so i went there today... nope. not anymore. he says there's no interest in this area. what the fuck! i've had my hopes up for this

thanks hun. i'll keep my ears open as well. i myself do not participate as my work isn't for the public eye, only whom i choose to let read it, but i love the atmosphere and it's like a place to renew my energy. i've always enjoyed them and miss going terribly.

the throat is doing a little better today, but i've also got a fever. ah well.

that's interesting about the shooting range. i've always wanted to learn how to shoot, but thought i needed to be under someone's license to do it. i'll have to look into it. maybe we can go together sometime. i'd love the company and it's even better that you already know what your doing!

but on another note, do any of you really think it's a good idea to let me of all people behind a weapon? lol

Don't they still have AS220 in downtown Providence? That'd be your best bet- if they are still functional, they will either have an open-mic nite, or know who is. Check it out!
