I really enjoyed this. The "Grim Lottery" line sounds so much like something George would think, and I like how Angie doesn't understand how they can be so clueless, hehehe. Mason's dialogue is also well done--the way he has a tendency to ramble on about random things, know more than you'd think he would, and be unintentionally poignant. I liked finding out details about his family and the line about them being disappointed for the last time... ouch. ._.
