Agreed. I actually pieced together the flash-forward twist due to a combination of two things:
- on the "Lost Moments" special where they recapped the season, one of the producers said something like "If they get off the island the show's over", which sounded suspicious;
- in Jack's flash-forwards he was using a Motorola KRAZR, which is definitely not a phone from 2004. Granted it could've been a continuity error like some of the other ones that have come up, but the cellphone was getting a lot of screen time and it seemed quite deliberate.
I felt so vindicated when they actually revealed that it wasn't a flashback, :-). But yeah, so many questions remain unanswered, and so much frickin' time until Season 4 starts...le sigh...
