Aww. Sister Theodore knows more about the world than her pupils would like to think!
I like this character and the scene you've written. I only saw that episode once but I seem to recall her mostly having trouble getting through to those deranged boys, so it's neat that you chose to go with a female character for her to interact with.

This is lovely! You did a great job without much to go on from the character - I've not seen the episode in a while, but I think you did a better job making her a complete person than the show did.

I really enjoyed this! You balance the two sides of Sister Theodore so well - the pure nun and the more pragmatic woman. You have me wanting to rewatch this episode - I might do that tomorrow!

I haven't watched Mary's episode but I could totally see her in your writing here. Mary as a catholic nun! She would have a past! And a bit of a saucy attitude - even in prayer! But still be perceived as an innocent. I love it!

I love that you've used this as a bit of a reflection on the Church's attitude toward sex, as well. Don't know if that was intended but I do love a little social commentary in my fanfiction :)

Very much intended. In my r/l, among other things I'm a religious educator that works with teens and nothing ticks me off faster than societies assumptions that the fundamentalist voice is the real one. Time to move and shake with modernity and deal with the issues of 2012 not 1952.
