Oliver lay on the floor of the cabin, stretched out in front of the fireplace, watching the flames dance and flicker before him. Oliver glanced toward the window, as well. "It's really coming down out there." He looked at her once more.

She nodded, shifting slightly but not letting go of his hand, "yeah, I've never seen this much snow before and we've had some nasty snow storms in Kansas before."

"You cold?" he asked, studying her for a moment and then looking over his shoulder to the fire in the fireplace. "We could move closer."

Nodding, she glanced at the fire, then at him, "yeah, but I'll get some blankets instead."

He nearly said there were worse things they could do, but he stopped himself just in time. He drew in a breath and felt his way down the hall and into the bedroom, moving over to the closet. Grinning victoriously, he pulled down the stack of blankets and the sleeping bag, carrying them toward the living room.

"Sucess," he announced, moving toward the fireplace.

She was already there, arms wrapped around herself and about six pillows all over the small couch, "awesome, did you find everything?"

"Yep, and you were right. There is a big sleeping bag," he said with a grin, setting the blankets on the couch beside her.

She got up and nodded, "we'll have to set up on the floor, this couch isn't big enough," she picked up the sleeping back and looked over at him, "do you mind sharing?" It was big enough for both of them to fit in it comfortably and stay warm, but she didn't want to make him uncomfortable, although her main concern right then was heat and any source of heat was a good source of heat and that included body heat.
