I see Chobits and Prachett and... Is that a Mercedes Lackey book? It definately looks in the style that they show off her books. Looks like one of the Valdemars and since it's kinda purplish looking maybe... Take a Theif?

Well done. It's The Black Gryphon by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon, bought because I'd never read a Mercedes Lackey book before, and I wanted to know if I'd enjoy the style. (Answer: not really.)

If you want to try a Mercedes Lackey I wouldn't go with the Gryphons, They're probably the only books I hate by her. She's probably one of three authors I would call Favourites.

Looks a lot like one of the bookshelves here, only with more manga/anime and DVDs.

I do recognise Anathem, and American Gods. Is that Triplanetary next to Good Omens?

A whole lot of the other books look highly familiar, but whether that's 'cause they are on our bookshelves or because I used to see them on the shelves at my previous job I couldn't say.

It is indeed Triplanetary. I've never really gotten all that far in it, since it reads too... I don't know. Overdone? I know it was the style back then, but still.

I see Galaxy Angel and what I believe to be the DVD versions of the manga based on the little wing emblems on the side of the case. I may be wrong.

Ugh, this just proves my eyesight is getting worse...

The Galaxy Angel manga is up top, yes, but the DVDs are actually of Angelic Layer. (Anime likes angelic themes.)

Don't worry, it's not your eyesight, it's the blurry photo. Like I said, I need to mess around with the settings.
