The keyboard is really small. I'll be typoing a lot before I get used to it.

I made very sure I had the number and address of the local service centre (opposite Funan). Supposedly Asus products are rock-solid dependable, but I have this entropic anti-electronic field or something.

For all your EEE tweaking needs:

If you go over to the forums section, you'll see that I have also contributed to some threads regarding h264. (Simple answer seems to be using Crossover for Linux then installing a tested version of Quicktime)

Enjoy your Eee, and hope the anti-electronic field doesn't bite!

I've had my 901 for a few months now and my hate of Xandros grows by the day; it came with a list of problems that seem to happen to everybody (most listed here) - one of them is that the Full Desktop Mode hates the word processor; it crashes constantly. So if you do change to Full Desktop (instructions are on that wiki uchuukuukan so helpfully posted), be aware.

Xandros also has a sporadic issue with shutdown/startup where it just... sits there, and you have to manually turn it off to get it out of it. I've never encountered a PC that hangs on shutdown, but I suppose there's a first time for everything.
