The Cop said that there was a witness, but they had taken off by the time i woke up. I haven't gotten my hands on a copy of the police report yet.

I think knobhdy and I will be trying to share the Element for a while, while i research, as I don't need a car for work, but I'm strongly looking at a 2003 accord, or something like that.

Ack! At least you weren't in the car (or, worse, in _front_ of the car) when it happened. Hopefully the insurance company won't cause any trouble.

Definitly rental coverage, i'm not sure about comprehensive insurance, as I think i chose not to pay out more per year than the car is really worth to get that insurance for it.
