I'd just really like to LEARN it. But according to my parents, even in China it would be hard to find an instructor.

If you live near any Ving Tsun branches, you might want to check that out. Though, I can't speak for all branches of the family, just the Moy Yat clan. Moy Yat VT Kung Fu is really awesome. I know we have branches in...hmm. Iowa City, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Virginia Beach, Richmond VA, Chicago, Austin...I'm probably forgetting some. :D

It's true, that you can't find much in the way of ACTUAL back-in-the-day KF. But, VT comes close in a lot of ways. Including the family aspect of it.

S'okay. That was pretty interesting! Unfortunately, I don't live near any of the places that I could learn from. And I don't think my parents would like to spend 4 hours driving somewhere to learn kung fu. >.

I was TOTALLY thinking that at first, but she says she likes Gil, and Fedelta hates Gil. Maybe that's inconsequential, I dunno. It just pushed me back toward Bierrez. Which, also, Fedelta obeys Nadil, yes? This person seems like more of the not-subordinate type.
