I'll have you know that after Christmas Angel!Arthur (...and maybe Dog!Arthur), Conflicted!Arthur is my absolute favorite. So this story is like candy to me to begin with, and then you added girl and Nathan Merlins, and, basically, A;ODSKFHSD/;LFKJ.
“You are now the most important person in the universe, Arthur,” The old Merlin said solemnly, “Good luck,” he wished him. This made me want Arthur/Donna, not gonna lie. Lol I love Gwen, but you gotta admit that Queen Donna would kick WAY more Camelot ass.
I really love how you've split up this story by incarnation, it keeps things clear yet intriguing, as you read the name and then get to meet the incarnation along with Arthur. And even though Nathan!Merlin is always going to bring the lulz, something about the quiet, stubborn wisdom of Artemis makes her my favorite. So brilliant how Arthur immediately is given to empathize with her having to work harder to live up to others' expectations. Super descriptions of wardrobe in this too, btw.

Lol I knew it! "COMPROMISED" Boy do I love Artemis.:) “Sorry, old me!” The boy exclaimed. XD
Arthur noticed how the fire had been shaped into a scene of knights riding on their steeds. The fire-shaped men rode in a circle over the logs, the flames crackling every so often. SO COOL.
Ahaha! I was seriously charmed by the Myrddin/Ella/Arthur/(Artie!) interaction, what a great generation! Do you think they might fire up your muse again? I'd love to learn more about them!
