I think we should be the first country required to give up our Nuclear and Chemical Weapons. After all where do we have standing to say that Iran shouldn't pursue them if we do. The United States claimes we keep WMD as a deterrent- so that other countries won't use thiers against us. But if we are hit in a nuclear attack is the responsible thing ( Read more... )

We are discussing WMD and ICBM in History class, and if one of those things go... we all go because there will be so much retaliatory response. It's ridiculous. My Prof. said that one of the minute man 2's can be launched from somewhere in Penn. and reach a target in Moscow (or wherever) in 23 minutes!!!! Talk about the biggest "oh shit!" in the world.

We watched "Duck and Cover" as well... OMG funniest shit I have ever seen... apparently a newspaper saves you just as well as the hole! If I had my choice though... definatley the liquor:)

23 minutes... I don't know what I'd do. I probably wouldn't even know about it, I'd just all of a sudden be dead. Wonderfully refreshing, motivational thought.
