......PFFFFFT.

Okay, you never told me about that pickup line. Seriously, I'm rather hurt. I would have laughed and laaaaaughed.

I didn't tell you because YOU ARE A MEANIE! Don't laugh at me! Also there is such a thing as context, my dear. Anywhere in the Western World, I totally would have blown off that fellow because lame geek with no know-how concerning women - but here in Algeria, where such things a imagination and creativity have zero currency, this guy is a RARE BIRD.

I'll also have you know that that line got him a girlfriend : me. u.ub

SO YEAH GO AHEAD. MOCK ME. I ASSUME EVERYTHING!

It's okay. Even in the Western World, we sometimes fall for silly lines because of context or cuteness or whatever. But our friends still laugh at us.

Congrats on the upcoming move - been a long time coming. :-)

I'm presuming UAE is a step up from Algeria, but still... And how is the citizenship issue in that regards? *worries*

It has, indeed! I am ecstatic and I can't wait *_*

UAE is far better than Algiers, Dubai in particular because of the high concentration of foreigners - notably Americans and Brits. Mentalities just aren't the same, goodness. It's ok to be a woman there, and frankly, I'm not looking for much more than that.

Citizenship isn't an issue for us : my sibs and I were born there, and even though they don't grant actual nationality easily, citizenship is a given for me. We've already started preparing the red-tape stuff, and we haven't met with any awful obstacles so far; So that's cool; :)

How are you, my freind? :)
