I have been hearing a lot about how eating raw is the way to clear up a lot of diseases and ailments, and I have my own experience to confirm that there really is something to this. Anyway, consuming lots of animal protein/fat has been linked to various ailments like cancer and heart disease. I think that information is freely available. Anyway, since treating these diseases adds to our ultimate health care costs, maybe there should be a tax on meat like there is a tax on cigarettes and alcohol. You mentioned that people respond to their pocketbook, and I think this is also true. I don't think most people make changes in their lifestyle because it's the right thing to do for themselves, others and the environment. They need a financial incentive ( ... )
