so we're definitely moving next year. hopefully to nc.
we both want to get out of here, explore new places, meet new people.
i love the county but i need something more. something with art, music, and a grocery store with pancetta at the deli counter.

i'm tired of being disappointed.
i've gotten my hopes up for two big events within the next few months... just to have them shattered.
maybe it's just better to not get my hopes up for anything...

you know what i learned tonight?
don't run in flip flops. especially in the snow.
they will fall off, you will lose them in your yard, and your feet will get snowy and cold.

for the first time in my livejournal existence, i have changed my layout.
now i'm all screwed up.

jake's in north carolina for thanksgiving break...
and i know i've had a long, long time to adjust to the idea of spending the holidays apart but it still makes me sad to think that i won't see him for thanksgiving or christmas or new years... or our one year anniversary.
