It will suck. Same goes for Memento, and other films that rely on a one-shot secret, obscured either by holding it to the end, or shuffling what the viewer knows. Still, some great performances, and that might be enjoyable enough.

And yeah, I hate hearing about children getting killed. Actually, anyone getting killed. Humans should be beyond that.

Yeah, I've never seen it, either, for the exact same reason.

It's like, yeah, shut up about the dead people--we know, we know...

I would kill the person who ruined those movies for you. I'm not someone who is easily fooled by movies. I can usually see the surprise twist coming miles away. All three of those got me. The Usual Suspects and Memento are both probably still worth seeing because there are some great performances. Also, Memento is such an unusual film that I've enjoyed watching it again.

It's been years since I've seen The Sixth Sense. If I'm remembering correctly, the step-mother was motivated by Munchausen by proxy syndrome.

Yes, that is correct. That part of the movie really disturbed me too. I actually know someone who has Munchausen's, but not Munchausen by proxy. It's so scary what can happen in people's heads, you know?

**hugs**

You could always watch Mulholland Drive; even people who've seen the ending often don't get it. :-)
