How to Avoid Wasting food

I don't like the flavour of tomatoes, unless they are accompained by cheese, or in a sandwich, with a lot of other things. Even the cherry tomatoes had that effect in me yesterday, in the salad I was trying to eat ( Read more... )

I absolutely love tomatoes and even eat them raw. A lot of dishes that I make have a trace of tamarind or tomato in them. Tomato rice with coconut chutney is one of my favorite rice snacks :)

I don't know what tomatoes are like there, or how they taste, but you should try grilling them because a lot of people who don't like them otherwise like them grilled.

Grilled tomatoes are Yummy. I forgot that one!

It is only raw tomatoes that I don't seem to like on their own. But in sandwiches, grilled, in salsas or in sassam (among others) have a great taste.

You'll appreciate the taste of raw tomatoes when they are served in very small peices as a topping on masala papad mixed with green/red chillies, finely cut onion etc. ;)

Yum!

I don't like tomatoes atall! I avoid them as far as possible. When I used to cook (two years ago, when i was living in Hyderabad alone), i'd forget to shop for tomatoes completely, and use tomato puree for the tangy taste.
It's been so long since I cooked, maybe I'll try my hand at cooking again. Your post has made me nostalgic.:)

Actually, I better get the liking of cooking. I was spending too much money at eating out. The cafeteria of the hospital I used to work at before coming back to school was not precisely free, unfortunately.

Peace!
