so it was a somewhat stressful day at work with us being a few people down. closing was oh-so-fun. but even prior to that, i got a real winner of a customer on the phone. i don't remember the conversation word for word but you'll get the jist of it.

Me: Fry's computer department, this is me, how can I help you?

Customer: Hi, I needed some help

I actually went to my local Frys and bought that same game today. The intention was to find a cheap video card, but ended up not finding that and finding Brain Age 2 instead :)

That's like the people who call me and think I have a GPS tracker on the techs who are in the field. "When's my tech going to be here? Why can't you tell me? Can't you call him and tell him to come here next? I have to be at an appointment!" Of course, they don't want to hear my answers, either: "I have no idea. Because I don't know which tech is 'yours' or where they are. They don't have phones given to them, so no I can't call him. And what makes you so special that you should be next? You were told to be available all day, and you agreed to that. If you knew you could only be available until 3, you should have set the appointment for a day when you could be available all day."

Fortunately, with the department I'm in now, I only deal with maybe one or two such calls a week.
