It was really fun! I'd worked on my set a lot beforehand because I haven't DJ'd in such a long time and it really helped me not be stressed out while I was spinning and people were trying to talk to me. The disco went over well and then Jovino just totally slayed with his '80s set. I was nervous to follow him but kicked off the closing set with Last Dance and everybody cheered - it was awesome. ;-)
The had a different alcohol policy this year and it improved the vibe (not to mention SO much less trash). Basically you could drink in bars but no go-cups and I'm pretty sure they weren't letting people bring in their own either. I'm thinking this is likely to continue.
We were also back on Castro Street itself, which is my favorite location. Today I think we're going to go wander around later on, once the Bunny wakes up.
