Hey, I'm not in SF so I won't make it, but on the offhand chance that you run across a light brown pair of furry arm/legwarmers, I would love to have them. They look like this:
Allison wore them when we went to fun fur all together. When Allison comes to mind, I often think of how cute she looked in that outfit, and how much fun we had.
Alison did leave you a message. The veil between just makes it difficult to manifest here. And you can hear her voice anytime, just like we can be back on that boat in the Turtle Bay at Maui anytime we wish.
I know it's so hard to have that loss, and so very sad. Please don't beat up on yourself for the grieving, just feel it and know that you'll come out the other side eventually.
It IS complicated and difficult for those who have gone over to contact us. (okay, this next bit is my personal spiritual view, so if it doesn't resonate with you, that's okay, but I feel a need to say it). The more we hold onto them, the harder it is for them to move on. They want us to know that they are happy, so we can let them go, with love and sadness yes, but without holding them here or between.
Take care of yourself at the give-away. I'm sure Alison would like to see you that way, strong, happy and fully human even in your sadness.
