I looove that tattoo ♥ I love behind the ear tattoos sfm, actually. My bff's boyfriend has one of a bird behind his ear and it's so cute, I love it. How badly did it hurt?

Eeee, thank you! ♥ I love it too - I've wanted a behind the ear one for a while, not sure how long, but I've loved them since seeing Davey Havok has them. I've seen people with hearts, one girl with music notes (which I thought was AWESOME, and which makes me want to get something musical behind my left ear), etc. and I just love them! The bird one sounds adorable! =D

As to how much it hurt? It stung a little, but not a WHOLE lot (for me), it was over quicker than I thought, and it was really easy to manage. Gotta admit, I sort of like the pain if it's tattoo related. >.> The most painful tattoo to get overall was the AFI rose on my shoulder, tbh. (.... I SO cannot wait to get the other tattoos I have planned.)

p.s. The AFI rose in question is the one in my icon. =D

I love behind-the-ear tattoos, and yours is no exception. I used to work with a girl that had the deathly hallows symbol tattooed behind her ear.

I think I like them because they tend to be subtle, regardless of the design. You know how some tattoos just jump out and are like, "LOOK AT ME!!!!!!! I'M A FREAKING TATTOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! =D =D =D!!!!"? Behind-the-ears are nothing like that.
