First off, Jensen Ackles directorial debut = amazing. I may not have been over the moon about the episode, but I was definitely ecstatic about Jensen directing. Now that that's said, I recapped the episode
here and as I'm going to be doing from now on, underneath the cut are my fan-girl thoughts.
Must once again squee about Jensen directing (this time with screencap). I thought he did a good job, and the hot pictures released from behind the scenes definitely didn't hurt. *wink*
Oh, Bobby. "Balls." "Balls." Poor guy. Everyone calls him and he has to deal with such idjits a lot of the time.
Crowley. OMG, the love I have for Crowley. And his hellhound. And his complaining about being the King of Hell? Priceless. The exchange between Bobby and Crowley about why he sold his soul--YES!
Oh Sam and Dean. Poor Dean calling Bobby for help about Sam and Bobby finally getting fed up with dealing with their complaining and revealing it to Sam. Though I LOVED Bobby yelling at them. He deserves their help after all these years. And Dean got on a plane for him! If that's not love, I don't know what is. But I want the brothers to talk already, and really talk. And I want to know what the hell is going on with Sam (is it his soul?).
Next week, Dean becomes a vampire. God, that was hot. I'm pretty sure my brain just died after seeing that. Don't really remember anything else from the promo. Need to rewatch that promo. A lot. LOVE DVR.
