I'm sure you were hoping not to get this kind of comment, but here are 3 books (from the list) you haven't read that I would recommend:

I haven't read Wicked, but others by that author were pretty good. Mcgregor or something like that?

Also, read the Satanic Verses. Salman Rushdie is awesome. I really loved The Ground Beneath Her Feet too.

And I read The Mists of Avalon about four or five times as a teenager. Marion Zimmer Bradley is mostly pretty good. I was sad when she died.

I've read one Rushdie book before, but I've never gotten around to The Satanic Verses. I'll add your recommendations to my library list.
