Right now I can quite honestly say that I loath the legality of fireworks in Oregon. Don't get me wrong, I love big fireworks shows, but having them go off right next to me gives me a headache like nothing else. And makes it more than a little difficult to get to sleep when I have work the next day

Well, the "leaving the ground" fireworks *are* illegal in Oregon, so that's not the problem.

And it's okay, I just miss seeing you, and was sad to see you leave. But it was probably a good idea as our little party was *very* close to the action, and not comfortably so a few times.

Actually in Oregon basically everything except snakes and sparklers are illegal. It's just that the Couv is right across the river... Maybe we should bully WA into passing a law that you can't sell fireworks to someone unless they show local ID.
