Although it's still a few days away, I went down to my mom's place this weekend to celebrate my 37th birthday. Highlights included trying kayaking for the first time. Mind you, by this I mean that Jessica and I got into a two-person kayak, paddled out to a buoy on a calm river, and then paddled back again. Not exactly taxing, but fun nonetheless
