Didn't know this, but really like the quotes, and of course I LOVE Leonard Cohen...so I'm hooked!

I too am disturbed....so I won't be ashamed any more? I like that thought, and 'the whole world is longing for healing'...great stuff thanks. Love and peace.

no problem. i really love this movie. i first saw it when i was like 12 years old and have loved it ever since. my journal title "pirate radio for your eyes and ears" was sort of a takeoff of this movie, cuz ever since i saw it, i wanted to have a pirate radio show, and i sort of think of my blog as being that show.

The only Leonard Cohen songs I've heard are "Hallelujah," "A Thousand Kisses Deep," "In My Secret Life." This song "Everybody Knows" is cool.

Concrete Blonde did a fabulous cover of "Everybody Knows." This version sounds so sultry.
