i honestly believe that mccain has no idea what he started w/his crowd and all the crap lies he's been spreading and sarah? what a tool. and a useless one at that...
yah, it is indeed scary how people can be easily manipulated with tough economic times and feeling of cultural or even community disconnect. americans lead separate lives or insulated realities with their families. so to create a boogey or strawman out of obama and use racist hatred of arab people, the conditions were ripe for people falling into line. this concerns me for arab people and also those seen as 'socialist' as palin likes to use the word. if mccain gets elected by the electoral college or computer malfunction or people being knocked off the rolls even before t hey vote, then all their supporters wouldsee n problem in treating democrats or dissidents like domestic terrorist. plus bush signed all the papers to put the mandates in place for easier arrest laws

i get what your saying. it is a crazy campaign. i have issues with both canidates, but i do hope obama wins. but yeah, all the stuff that goes with the election campains is just crazy sometimes. i feel manipulated by both sides.
Viewing it from Australia, we still get the picture, and its not good, hope Obama wins, he is probably the best of a weird bunch. Palin... well, not sure I could vote for a woman who happily slaughters animals. Suppose that's small stuff up to the way others behave and who they kill! Obama is seen even here as a bit of a 'spokesman' has the words but may not match with actions? Our polies are just as bad, all fat cats just having a good time with our money. Having been involved with small time politics (local) when my husband was on council I found out a lot! Even if you try to do the right thing, and really want to be totally honest with the people, you are prevented. Decisions are made by the 'faceless' ones, you just have no chance. They pound you into the ground, and do exactly what they always have. We did have some small victories. He got a bus to our local area, a road sealed, some housing approved, so he tried! So will watch with interest when the results come out for you.
thats cool that you were involved in politics. i have been to marches and rallies, but have never gotten too involved. it's a messy world with politics, but worth it to make a difference when you do. i like Obama. i've been sort of dissapointed with his debates against mccain. i feel like he could have done a lot better, but i still like him and would like to see him win.
