It's not a case of 'better', just less sad. Actually, I don't mind a bit of sad in my stories every once in a while. I figure you have to take the good with the bad. It was just so sad that it was all Arthur's fault, that he did it on purpose without thinking what would happen.

Actually I don't like sad stories, but with those two I just had to write at least one. Somehow I fail to imagine their lives happy all the time. They strike me both as people whose defenses would be very strong, so it would be difficult to get behind those walls. Still the next ones won't be so sad anymore, only a little angsty at some point.
