So, I realized last night that I probably should get a mic preamp.  I'd thought about this once or twice before, but then completely forgot it afterward.  If I do this, it will allow me to do something I got taught before I stopped going to school - add amplification as early as possible in the signal chain.  That would be right after the mic ( Read more... )
